Sarah Falen Tate
Sarah Falen Tate is a 6th generation Wyoming rancher and a 3rd generation advocate, she has been working in the agriculture industry her whole life. Sarah got bachelor’s degrees from the University of Wyoming in Agriculture Communication and Environment and Natural Resources. To further her education, she also got a law degree from the University of Wyoming in 2021 and shortly thereafter joined Budd-Falen Law Offices.
At Budd-Falen Law Offices, Sarah has worked on various endangered species issues, federal lands issues and has written numerous articles regarding issues that the Firm litigates over. In addition to her legal roles at the Firm, Sarah also manages all social media for the Firm.
After a TikTok about a federal legal issue went viral, Sarah started her business, Wild West Advocacy LLC to educate the public about agriculture and natural resources legal issues. Through this business, she travels across the country to speak at different events and lobbies at the state and federal levels. Sarah also teaches two classes at the University of Wyoming College of Agriculture, Agriculture Law and Policy and Regulatory Considerations for Ranch and Range Management.
Sarah was inducted into the Cowgirl Magazine Cowgirl 30 Under 30 Class of 2024, has a second degree black belt and still teaches women’s self defense classes and educates women about the importance of training and situational awareness. She also volunteers her time with Wyoming FFA chapters and helps coach the Agriculture Issues Speaking teams.
Sarah and her husband, Jeremiah, will be welcoming their first son in November 2024.
